A video has emerged online of Kesses Parliamentary aspirant Swarrup Mishra allegedly faking an attack.
Mishra had on Tuesday, April 18, claimed a group of men hired by his rival Allan Kosgey had seriously beaten him up.
Both Kosgey and Mishra are battling for the Kesses seat on a Jubilee Party ticket in the upcoming nominations.

The incident occurred outside Royalton hotel, where Mishra was meeting his supporters.

The aspirant was admitted to an Eldoret hospital where he was put on oxygen as TUKO.co.ke earlier reported.
Photos shared online showed the aspirant lying helplessly in hospital breathing from an oxygen mask attached to his nose. He was wearing a neck brace suggesting that he got a neck injury.

But now the CCTV footage shows that Mishra was not attacked by anyone during the confrontation outside the hotel.
In the video, Mishra is being whisked into his car safe and sound.

Kenyans on social media wondered how Mishra was injured and admitted to hospital while it was clear he is seen being escorted by two bodyguards to his vehicle.
